Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is excellent for walking into the town center and has a formal attire requirement, but it can get noisy and crowded. The rooms were small, situated two flights of stairs down, and I mistakenly selected one with one queen bed. Although the staff seemed tired, they were friendly and helpful, providing dining recommendations even during late-night check-in.
Staying at this Holiday Inn was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel has seen many upgrades, but the two flights of stairs down to my room meant the TV wasn't easily viewable from the bed. The location is beautiful, right on the scenic Navesink River, but it can get noisy when there are events happening.
I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The room was rather small but adequate for two people, lacking warmth and natural light due to its location on a lower level and dated decor. On the bright side, the staff was exceptionally warm and accommodating, making our stay more pleasant. The location was stunning, overlooking the Navesink River, but the dining experience left something to be desired with overpriced options and crowded spaces.
